Bill: Federal Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We see no reason to not support these proposals, we are willing to support this act.

However, we do wonder if lodamun should have a king? Who is going to be the next king or queen? Are we going to trust our nation to an individual who is chosen to rule on a hereditary basis rather than merit or skills-based?

MessageMr. Speaker,

we would like to thank Mr. Authors for this input.
The way we see it, the Prince would be the Head of State in name, and the Head of Government would be the political leader of the nation. The Head of Government is chosen by the Chamber, thus by the people.
This means that the Prince would have very limited power. Obviously, the Prince won't live forever, therefore we suggest to deal with that matter once the Head of State is no longer with us.
