Bill: Defense to GDP, Spending Pledge

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Republican Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4714

Description[?]:

I propose we pledge to spend 5% of our GDP on Defense. I am not proposing to raise it all immediately I am proposing that over a period of time we raise it slowly. Hutori has a very strong economy and military and they spend 5% of there GDP on defense, if we want to be a strong country we should spend at least 5% of our GDP on defense.

Article One:
Likatonia will raise its defense budget over a three year period from the passing of this bill to match at least 5% of its GDP.
