Message | Frankly I think 18 is a more universally recognized age for adulthood then 21. |

Message | The older the better so that they will be more mature by the time they are considered adults. |

Message | Well by that train of logic why do it at 21? Lets make it older like 42 or better yet 68 or so on and so on. When it comes to adults it simply means the age at which they are considered a legally seperate entity from their parents and are afforded more rights because of that. 18 tends to be the universal age for this. |

Message | Agreed. There's no reason why we should handicap future generations by relegating them to three more years of childhood. |

Message | Our opposition is more concerned with the privileges that 18 year olds will get when they officially become adults, namely voting and alcohol. We do not want young'ns voting for parties like the LDP nor do we want them to be indulging in bad substances. |

Message | When it comes to voting other countries already have it set at 18. If the younger people won't vote your way that's not an excuse to say they don't deserve to be an adult. That's just a shameless attempt at staying in power. |

Message | I will give you the reason for 21. It is that age when you are not obligated to go to school anymore. And why 21 for that limit? Because it is the maximum value one can enter for obligating the children in the country to go to school. Only after proper education and further maturisation one can make adult decisions. |

Message | Children are not children at twenty-one. They're not children when they're eighteen. They're adults and deserve to be out and about making their own decisions in life. They can't be their parent's play-things forever, and they can't be denied the vote any longer. It's time we let these adults get out and vote, and vote for us! |
