From | | To | Debating the Power and Energy Act | Message | we can debate that, we would prefer using government funds for construction, and have individuals maintain them, but we will make concessions |

From | | To | Debating the Power and Energy Act | Message | the only way a comprehensive nuclear power system can work, and work safely, is for the reactors to be run by the government in a pseudo-military organization with a clear chain of command and a culture of safety and responsibility. We will not support a system that puts into place a dangerous and profit based system of nuclear electricity generation.
We agree on the main point that fossil fuels are dangerous and polluting and we feel that even with the question of nuclear waste disposal still to consider we shoudl pass this bill.
Can we please add a provision to this bill stating explicitly that the plants will be built and run by government workers? If so, our party will support its passage. |

From | | To | Debating the Power and Energy Act | Message | We find the reaction of the communists to be petty, at best. |
