Bill: Justice & Security Act II

Submitted by[?]: Beluzian Triumph League
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4741
Description[?]:
In the second edition of our justice & security act, we hope to improve the status of our security forces. Police must have firearms, and in today's climate, and with guns being more prevalent than ever, we cannot deny our officers on the streets weapons that save lives. Furthermore, we seek to reform that police may enter a building not just with warrants, but also dire circumstances. |

Message | We support Article 2 and would be willing to implement this in a separate bill. We do not believe that police officers should carry firearms that can cause injury, or even worse, death of innocent civilians. For example, would you rather kill a thief or arrest him and put them on trial? If someone is running away from the scene of the crime, would you rather shoot him/her to death before interrogating them, or arrest them and see what they have to say? |

Message | And what would the UBWP say to officers who go to arrest certain criminals and protect people from shooters and those who do possess firearms? You are simply sending our men in blue to their deaths and quite frankly I am offended as well as my fellow BTL members than you would assume the worst of our police force, who's professionalism and pride for our country is unmatched. |
