Bill: Count on Representatives Initiative

Details

Submitted by[?]: Sekowan Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2216

Description[?]:

We attest that an even number of representatives in the Council of Renner (although it rolls off the tongue well) is dangerous as it could lead to tied votes. We are not suggesting there needs to be many more or less representatives, just an odd number. Any odd numbering could prevent future government instability.

Message201 is just a default choice of mine, because it won't rock the boat but will solve the problem at hand. Feel free to suggest other options.

MessageI've actually been in a country before where the liberal parties and conservative parties had an equal share of the seats, so I'm not speaking hypothetically. And since you and me are the only two active parties in this country....you never know. It'd be much easier for two parties to divide a country 50/50 (America..cough, cough).
