| Message | The Alliance is of the opinion that it is somewhat naive to consider this policy in complete isolation, particularly without an invitation to debate before putting to the vote. Allowing a major influx of people from other nations begs so many questions, which the CML appear quite happy to pretend don't exist: 1. Uncontrolled population growth. 2. Potential sudden culture conflicts 3. The unintended facilitation of infiltration by people with sinister intent and/or the means to carry out acts of terrorism. 4. The uncosted effects on our nation's expenditure for health, education, social benefits, etc 5. The effect upon job opportunities for our existing citizens etc, etc None of the above might make the CML change its mind, but they all need to be addressed if this proposal is not deemed to be reckless. |
