Bill: Bozarland-Khodor rail way proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Labour Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4759

Description[?]:

The SLP are thinking of building a fully electric train high speed railway running from Bozarland to Khodor. The railway itself is fully electric and meets all emissions standards. We are proposing a train network with carts that release a lot less emissions than normal train carts but it will be slightly more expensive. We could use the normal train carts but as it’s not great for the environment so we have proposed the emissions free ones instead.

The line itself will try not to cut through any nature areas like forest, farmland, etc but unfortunately we can make no promises on this just yet. The reason why we propose this is because it will make travelling from Bozarland to Khodor 1 and a half hours faster and is a lot more convenient for commuters. We also in the future are talking about it extending to Delvar but at this moment in time we are discussing on building the line first. The CSP will have to agree about it being built there as it’s their county.

The building of the railway will be government run and be a nationalised railway. The cost of building the railway at the moment is estimated to be 11billion but this is not definite.

MessageI agree this opinion, but i would like the private company own the railways, bou the government can be the majority sharehold inthe company, and use the revenue of stock to help the public reduce the cost of transportion

MessageTo the DFP comments. Having a private company run the railway isn’t a great idea as they will only do it for profits and they will make cuts to emissions standards and environmentally friendly carts.

MessageMr Speaker,

Instead of focusing on bringing foreign capital and people onto our soil, maybe the government should start thinking about investing in local infrastructure. The shape of our schools, roads, hospitals and in fact, local railways, are poor. It is only common sense that we put the money back to where it came from, to our towns and villages who deserve more investment.

The common democracy party can see that since we the SLP have been in government funding for public transport has increased by 38% after we took power from the DFP. The people have been crying out for a high speed railway in Rutania for years and we’ve no given it to them. Can the CD explain how this is bringing foreign people into are country.

All workers will be from Rutania.
