| Friends and colleagues, while we all consider life to be precious and meaningful, we must take a look at ourselves and realize that we as a government cannot strip away a person's right to end their life because of a medical emergency or certain personal reasoning when they are the same people who in good standing elected us to represent them and place their best interests ahead of our own. It is time to give our citizens this choice, but they must realize the severity of their decision as well as have approval and consent from a licensed medical professional. |
