The LCP-WR coalition can keep governing. The Purple Guard, however, does not cross the electoral treshold of 5 %, losing all of its parliamentary representation in this duchy. Middenriding: The Purple Guard governor Bil Villey is re-elected with 30.80 % of the votes. There are no major changes in the region. The CPL loses 5 seats but the national-communist majority is still possible with 52 seats. Northriding: The LDP governor seemed to be very unpopular here. The governor ended up last with 13.38 % of the votes. The LDP loses half its seats here! The LCP and the White Rose are benefiting the most from this but the elected governor is Edward Norton from the CPL with 26.35 % of the votes. "The LDP always wants to increase taxes! They governor got what the deserved. His antisocial policies were totally unfair!" said Edward Norton. Nonetheless, the opposition to the national government still has a majority in the duchy. Erneshire: The TPL governor Edward Connor is re-elected with 40.15 % of the votes. The national-communist received 67 % of the votes in the region. A very clear majority for the national government parties. The White Rose manages to cross the electoral treshold this time. Orange: The incumbent governor Angelina Crate (WR) is defeated by Emma Hayfield (CPL) with a large margin. The CPL gained an astonishing 43.53 % of the votes in the duchy while the White Rose comes second with 15.05 % of the votes. The landslide victory of the CPL grants the national-communist a comfortable majority. "We were not expecting this results. We expected to win but not with a so large margin. People are getting sick of this capitalist system, our capital deserves better than that! This CPL victory is a real signal to the traditional parties" said Emma Hayfield. |
