Voting deadline: September 4762

Description[?]:

In accordance with section 6 of the Game Rules (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8088), Telamon is a "culturally protected" nation. Below is the cultural protocol by which all players in the nation must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name.

--OVERVIEW--

The dominant ethno-linguistic group in Telamon are the Skjöld (Icelander) people, who migrated to the continent during the first millennium CE. The Skjöld are an Altfolk (Scandinavian) ethnic group. Minority populations in Telamon include the Doyingars (Faroe Islander), who are centred on the island of Migadon, and the Laamits (Sami), related to the Sullestian (Finnish) people.

NOTICE: The correct demonym from this bill's passing until changed shall be TELAMONIC. As Telamonese does not fit with the OOC culture or language, Telamonic should be used instead. If you see Telamonese, please change it to Telamonic.

--ETHNICITY--

» Skjöld (Icelandic)- 77%
» Doyingar (Faroe Islanders)- 12%
» Davostani (Dane)- 3%
» Laamit (Sami)- 2%
» Kivonian (Swede)- 2%
» Hutorian (Canadian/Australian)- 2%
» Sullestian (Finnish)- 1%
» Other- 1%

--RELIGION--

» Church of Telamon (Christianity)- 68%
» Irreligious- 27%
» Other- 5%

--LANGUAGE--

The most commonly spoken language in Telamon is Skjöldunga (Icelandic), which is closely related to the largest minority language Doyingar (Faroese). Other minority languages include Kivonian (Swedish), Davostani (Danish), Luthorian (English) and various Laamit (Sami) languages.

--NAMES--

Names of candidates and RP-characters should reflect the ethnic make-up of the nation as defined above. Exceptions require substantial RP-justification.

MessageIn accordance with the request from moderation (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8756), here is the new version with the newly formatted name. Slight additions were made, namely adding Davostani and Kivonian in for their correct languages and ethnicities, as well as the correct ethno-linguic demonym.
