Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4789
Description[?]:
Rutania’s by far largest car manufacturers has ran into just over half a billion of debt and are about to go into liquidation. The businesses name is Rutania automobiles and the reason their in debt is due to most of its profits funds being frozen over seas and in certain countries if money is left untouched for over a certain amount of time with now approval they automatically lose it. The bad news is that the company has over 56,000 employees in Rutania that will no doubt lose their jobs so they want the government to forgive the 507,856,000 Rut debt they have in order to try to get back on track. The government has no part in paying back their debt but if the company goes into liquidation it could have a huge impact. I have already mentioned the fact that they have 56,000 employees here in Rutania and all those jobs could be lost over night. Also trade would be massively affected as well as the number of cars on the road. We would like all the parties to think about this. |

Message | Mr Speaker, Are the SLP seriously proposing that we use public funds to save a failing company? it is our view this company should either be allowed to fail or should be sold. the only option we would propose is nationalisation.
