Message | Mr Speaker, We should make Aloria more friendly to business. It will bring jobs, and also bring more money to our country. However, we should also cut taxes on essential goods, as people shouldn't be able to not afford something just because of the tax on it, and especially things that they need. Vaughan Linicht MP Minister for Finance |

Message | Mr Speaker, We support the cut in the essential goods tax, as we don't think that people should have to pay tax on essential goods. However, we disagree with the cut in corporate tax. We think that it should be raised, so "essential goods taxes" can be got rid of completely. We also don't think that reducing the taxes will bring jobs, because companies won't spend what they don't give in taxes on more jobs. It is just not going to happen. Businesses can't be trusted to do things for themselves, and have to be told to by the Government, which it isn't doing. Heinrich Williams MP, Leader of the Opposition |
