Message | Mr Speaker. We need to regulate private schools less. They have to follow the National Curriculum mostly, so they have to teach what is approved by teachers and government, so why do they need to be regulated anymore? They have shown that they are following the national curriculum, so why does this government want to regulate them more? Angela Merrith MP Conservatives Spokesperson for Education and Culture |

Message | Mr Speaker, We do not need to regulate private schools less. They do not have to follow the national curriculum, as they are partially exempt and so can allow some teaching that is not included in the NC, or miss some out. We need to regulate private schools so that they do not teach children badly. - David Muel MP, Minister for Education and Culture |
