Bill: Cabinet Proposal of July 2066

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lodamun Centre-Left Coalition

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2067

Description[?]:

The MLP would like to note that it hopes that a temporary Cabinet can be agreed on as soon as possible. We have decided that as the PACF party with the most seats garnered, the CNT/AFL should be given one Cabinet slot.

A new Cabinet will be put forward effective the passing of the Inclusive Consensus Act.

MessageWe'd like to note to the 2nd June Movement that this will only be a temporary Cabinet until the Consensus Act passes and hopes that it will reconsider its vote to get some stability within Lodamun as soon as possible, with a war going on elsewhere.

MessageUpon further investigation it appears that this motion is supefluous and as such we will abstain unless some reason os provided as to why this should be enacted rather than move Consensus act and proceed from there.

MessageWe did not understand that the Inclusive Consensus act would have thet effect, In fact we understand that the head of Government shall, under the terms of that act be granted to the party that retains the position of President Councillor, which is currently the Moderate Leftist Party of Lodamun.

Please inform us if our understanding of this is incorrect.

Random fact: Periodically, it is a good idea to go through your nation's Treaties and arrange to withdraw from any that are unwanted.

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn
