Bill: Law on gender identity

Details

Submitted by[?]: Renouveau Impérial

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4793

Description[?]:

We belive that, a person shouldn't be able to change its gender, at least not in a legal outlook, as it doesn't concur with our current policy on other subjects, for instance the policy on marriage, our current law stipulates that "The government only recognises civil marriages between a man and a woman", here we can see the antinomy. That is why we belive that the government should only recognize the biological gender of people.

MessageI am not really sure that private corporations would accept to pay women who dress and identify as men in the same way as biological men, because it wouldn't be in their interest.
