Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialibertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2218
Description[?]:
Phone service is an essential public utility. Since telecom operators essentially have a monopoly in their areas of service, and since the costs of entering the market are prohibitive, and entering the market is wasteful (companies need to lay new copper/fibre in areas that already have it), it is essential that it be regulated. |
