| We should not over price the goods citizens want to buy with taxes. Citizens should not be punished because they want what they do by the State imposing tariffs on what are often essential goods. We ought to seek other ways of punishing importing nations for imposing taxes on our exported goods (which, according to Tresury figures, are zero anyway). |
