Message | The Democratic-Socialist Party believes in a strong military, in a strong defense, and in securing our nation's borders and freedoms. However, our belief in a strong military cannot blind us to the fact that our own defense systems cause harm to other human beings around the world. For this reason, we do not support articles two and four because and unrestricted use of land mines and chemical and biological weapons will make our country prone to becoming the same type of cruel regime we oppose abroad. Sen. Jeffrey Yates (WB) |

Message | The DSP is, nonetheless, willing to support articles 1, 3, and 5. For that reason, a new bill including those changes will be introduced to the floor. A bill we can all get behind of. Sen. Cher Cheng (PD) Senate Majority Leader |
Date | 23:48:01, November 06, 2020 CET | From | Democratic-Social Party | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | The DSP has decided to support the bill in the end, despite article 2. |
Date | 09:59:30, November 07, 2020 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | This Bill is a bit confused. We're removing restrictions on CBRN capabilities, but increasing restrictions on land mines? Any the appointment of officers, should this should be done through a constitutional method such as allowing the MOD to have it as a responsibility. Battlefield commissions? We're not at war, so no officers are to be appointed? |
Date | 13:07:27, November 07, 2020 CET | From | Democratic Party | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | The Democratic Party has also decided to support this bill, despite Article 1 being concerning to us. |
