Message | Comrade Speaker: The Socialist Party would Absolutely love to see the KDP vote against this bill. And we would also like to remind them that if the SP goes on Record in support of this fantastic piece of legislation, while the KDP refuses to take a position, as it seems they intend to do, we will gain viability among the electorate, and they will pay dearly among the electorate, in terms of visibility, for refusing to cast a vote on 40 proposals. The goal is to get the KDP on record as either voting in support or not of this bill, but the SP is just as happy if they don't vote either way. Because voters see that too. We thank the KDP for noting its objection in speech but we also will remind them that that doesn't help them one bit in the next elections. We yield. |

Message | SPOK should be worried about winning elections themselves. They have secured no or little seats in the recently held election |

Message | Comrade Speaker, If I may There is a reason for this, of course. As a Party that has been out of power for more than 80 years, we did not have time to adequately reintroduce ourselves to the population of Kalistan, nearly all of whom were not alive the last time Socialists sat in Government in Kalistan. The Snap elections were called and we had zero visibility, and we had not had the opportunity to make our Party's positions know to the people of the Republic. As a result, only 41,000 people voted for the Socialists. We accept the loss, but we do not intend to repeat it. Hence, the Omnibus. We have 6 years to campaign and then, when we are a better known Party once more, I am convinced that we will do well. We Yield. |
