Message | Mr. Speaker, We'd suggest our colleagues be a bit more specific and numbers'-driven in the description of their proposals and maybe also show their new-found and sudden enthusiasm in changes to the budget. -an EAPP backbencher called "Old Farmstead Gabriel" |

Message | Mr Speaker, First of all, our party undergone an internal change toward improving ourselves as a nation. Till few decades ago, Lodamun was generally the outcast of Terran, almost ignored and uncaring of external world, thus no sense of pride or integrity, unity were needed. However with the new century of openness and interaction with other nations, not only our reputation is at stake, but also our image about ourselves. We are no longer the isolated floating piece of land, focused only on ourselves and our tribalities, but also face a new discovered external world. This puts as at a different scale and paradigm, exceeding the need of internal conflict as supplement for the lack of external one. We thus need to be united and far better, need to have particular pride, strong culture and values to showcase as well be ready to defend them, not only from physical threats, but also philosophical threats from outside. Part of this we proposed this bill and we will add some more reforms to reflect our endeavors. Secondly, we are still thinking of how big the budget will be risen, most probably cuts will be made in various domains to supplement the rise in funds for the army. First plans of improving our armed forces will be creation of small gun factories as first step toward improvement, part of a new military armed complex called "Axon", producing for starters pistols called AXL-1 that will replace the outdated current pistols, and from there more and more designs and gun types produced. Estimated costs of starting the business is 500 million LODs and the materials needed for production and building of the facilities will be acquired from a foreign nation (as we subsequently banned the mining and timber industry) and those materials will be used here to be processed as guns ready to serve our troops and citizens buying them. Come to think of it, we will buy parts of guns from foreigners in the first phase as to ease out producing costs till we can expand and have a self sufficient armed industry. As a second note, as well, it would be good if we could sell weapons to the population too, given our lax gun laws this would in turn be profitable for our economy, increasing state's budget both in tax revenue and have a stronger armed industry that i look toward expanding it in foreign markets, thus to enrich Lodamun with foreign capital. Third, the improvements for our navy and creation of a ICBM program will be for the future, after we stabilize our armed forces in the first place and gain both economic ability and military experience and organization to further such plans, thus their more of plans to orientate our focus, rather than present-date issues to be dealt with. 3) will give us attention to the need of investing in our armed forces, and that encompasses modernization, either with help from our allies or military tech research for new designs, weapons and more to serve Lodamun. I hope these clarifications were sufficient to help EAPP, Sincerely, Nataniel Pop, Chairman of PSEI, Member of Lodamese Idealist school |
