Message | This would end democracy as citizens would no longer be allowed to support political causes that they like, rather government would decide. A terrible idea . Gyula Reti SDP Chairmsn |

Message | We echo Mr. Réti Gyula. We think the current laws regarding this matter are completely enough. |

Message | I would think that a system where some people are not able to give as much support to a candidate as others would be rather unfair, however, Mr Réti Gyula has made a good point, so, I would like to propose instead we continue to allow private donations, but also have publicly given funds. |

Message | Dear PTD, the role of the State in elections should be as small as possible. Other than it allows the path to illegal abuse (for example the so-called "fake parties" that is just created to grab the public funds and then do nothing), a law like this would be a threat to our democracy as well, since it would attach some politicians to the State and its money. I would remind again everyone that we have the 4th largest GDP per capita numbers on this world, if a party can't finance itself in Endralon, it is not because its followers are so poor they can't support their party, but because there is no democratic need for that party. |
