MessageI rise in support of passing the Animal Research Regulations Act. We, in the Moderate Party, understand that research on animals is abhorrent to many, but vitally necessary in ensuring the advancement of human-saving scientific breakthroughs. Still, our current policy allows a corporation to abuse animals without any regulation or oversight. We do not seek to shut down vital research, only to allow a modicum of basic regulation to guard against excess. This proposal is a hallmark of moderation. With this policy, basic oversight will join with the freedom to innovate. We hope that the parties of Beluzia will join us in this endeavor and pass this law.

Felipe de la Vega, Minister of Science and Technology
