| Message | Mr Speaker, I wish to extend my deepest appreciation for the Diet's willingness to hear and vote on this public petition and wish to echo His Grace the Duke's call for greater religious freedom and tolerance in this great country. I, of all people, and like many Luthorians, know that adherence to a faith through compulsion is not real adherence. People should be able to find Lord Eliyahu in their own way, not by means of state coercion. Faith is not faith if it is forced. As His Grace has said: "real faith must come from conviction".
