| Constitution of The United Socialist Republic Of Baltusia Article I All Citizens are guaranteed freedom from poverty, oppression, war, violence, discrimination and capitalism. All Citizens are guaranteed absolute social and economic equality. All Citizens are guaranteed freedom of religion, sexuality and beliefs. All Citizens must abide by the principal. "I swear never to hurt or hinder another living being, and take arms only in self defence or in the defence of others". Article II Baltusia is a Socialist Republic and shall be governed as such. Baltusia has a directly elected President. Every 4 years the people of Baltusia elect 200 representatives to the Baltusian Council Of Workers. Each State has a governor and a state council double their number of national representatives. The Government of The United Socialist Republic Of Baltusia will promote atheism, but private worship of all religions is allowed, a Socialist view of religion is encouraged, be it hosianism or any other. Article III A socialist economic system shall be established with a view to ensuring the attainment of a just and egalitarian society, free from exploitation of man by man. The people shall own or control the instruments and means of production and distribution Therefore the economy of Baltusia will be controlled by the proletariat through workers councils and cooperatives. infrastructure and transport is provided directly by the central government. The Baltusian Dollar is provided directly by the central government and will be used until full socialism is achieved. Article IV Baltusia will never take arms against another nation except in self defence or in the defence of others. Article V The Ecological Charter Baltusia is a ecological nation and its economy and society will reflect that. Animals should be treated with respect and The Government of The United Socialist Republic Of Baltusia will protect them from harm. Therefore all animal farming must meet a high ethical standard. The Government of The United Socialist Republic Of Baltusia is committed to preserving nature and fighting climate change; by any means necessary. Article VI The Police shall be abolished and replaced with local Community Self Defence groups, who will be heavuly regulated to avoid any abuse of power. Article VII Profit based wage slavery shall be abolished, all workers will be able to sign a contract with their commune guaranteeing them full rights. all unnecessary heirarchies will be abolished. every Baltusian has the right to be a member of a trade union, and recieve the full fruits of their labour. Article VIII all Baltusians are guaranteed healthcare, childcare, elder care and disability support. all Baltusians are guaranteed a free education. all Baltusians are guaranteed free high quality housing. Article IX Article X those who cannot work shall be supported fully by the community. those who refuse to work shall receive their basic needs. children will be free to pursue their interests and must be allowed to explore their creativity in a non-heirarchical way. |
