Message | The BBP beileves that some of our wealthy citizens that are in need of Pharmaceutical Drugs are capable of paying for some of their own medicines. (we recently passed the private sector or gated communities bill) so if they can build private sections they surely can help us help them. right? We should continue to subsidize the cost for our low income citizens, they still need the gov'ts help. TY DK BBP(KP) |

Message | The Growth and Prosperity Party supports this bill, but feels that it could go further and change to: The government supplies free pharmaceutical drugs to those on low incomes Those who can pay for drugs should do so on their own, or through their own private insurance. By partly subsidizing the cost of pharmaceuticals for the rich as well, it simply diverts spending away from the needy. Would the BBP support an amendment to change the proposal's value? |

Message | I do not think the government should provide any drugs. I do, however, like GPP's suggestion for "The government supplies free pharmaceutical drugs to those on low incomes." |

Message | Free at the POINT OF DELIVERY. Yes, that means free. It does mean everyone pays a small portion of their taxes to supporting it, but I prefer a healthcare system in which the rich cannot arrange for themselves better care through simply having more money for the poor. This bill only hurts the poor. |
