Voting deadline: April 4967

Description[?]:

Dear Colleagues,

Currently higher education is fully subsidised. This is beneficial as it allows us to educate many young people helping them have the best future possible.

However, a downside is that fully subsidising higher education leads to student taking for granted of the opportunity they have and can lead to bad grades and graduates with no motivation or real skill.

We propose that higher education is subsidised to an extent and students pay for the rest through scholarships and student loans. This way it will help motivate them and realise the amazing opportunity they have which will hopefully prove beneficial to Dankuk.

MessageTuition is subsidized in all cases, but the schools still have choice over which students go where. Partially defunding the schools just keeps potential talent untapped.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
