| The citizens have once again vested their trust in our coalition. We will do everything to not disappoint them. For the third time, the opposition was rejected by the voters. The people want a stable and working government and no experimentations with absent-minded priests or unexperimented idealistic monarchists. Program proposal: - Remove the 3% and 52 % tax bracket - Decrease corporation tax to 18 %. - Implement a 2% essential goods tax. - Decrease the Health and Social Services budget to 48 billions. - Increase Internal Affairs spending to 6 billions. -Members of parliament and/or government have all their expenses paid for by the state. -The Head of State oversees the appointment of all mayors. -The government introduces, and actively enforces, food standards provisions. -The central bank is underneath the direct oversight of the Ministry of Finance. -The central bank determines the policy on charging interest on loans (if one exists) -Foreign nationals may only be employed in circumstances where the government has determined there is a labour shortage. -Forests are protected. Logging is allowed by licence only. -The government does not intervene with regard to the replantation of trees. -The confidentiality of letters is inviolable, but the justice dept. can violate it in extreme situations. -Women are not allowed to perform potentially dangerous tasks. -The national grid is fully owned by the state. The confidentiality of letters will not be completely ended because we heard some noble families are strongly against this legislation. |

| Message | While this programme meets with overall approval from the Alliance, the backbenches will not stand for any moves on abortion. 'Medical emergencies' have become an all too wide category, ranging even to 'mental distress' as an excuse for taking a life. We would also prefer ending the confidentiality of letters and correspondence entirely. |
