Bill: Declaration of Simon Sambrook
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4986
Description[?]:
"The results of tonight's election are worrying. More than 80% of Luthorians didn't go vote. The silent majority is angry, while the minority government of Mr. Greenwood Kimbrough was disapproved by almost all of the country. He thought he could win with his monarchist dog whistles. How wrong he was! We need a Republic, a President that will represent the silent majority and not the political elites. On the other side, our party more than doubled its number of votes and won 73 seats in the Diet. This is an incredible result for the liberals and for all the democrats who love our country and its values. I want to thank all those who voted for the change we represent, this boost will give our movement a real impetus. Now, we have a responsibility towards all our voters and all the angry silent majority. We cannot let our country in this state. The far-right governed our country for more than 30 years and look at the result! Democracy is in danger. My party will introduce the program of the "Yellow Revolution" to the Diet. Through compromise and determination, we believe a majority in the Diet can back our plan. " |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
Random quote: "Perhaps the fact that we have seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant has made our generation understand that to choose one's government is not necessarily to secure freedom." - Friedrich Hayek |
