| Message | Herr Sprecher We regard the Income tax bill of 4968 as the single worst piece of legislation passed by the VGP and commend the SP for trying to undo the egregious effects on the poorest among us. Unfortunately the bill before us makes worse other aspects of that unfortunate legislation and accordingly DZP will not support it. We will pledge to support a tax measure that only relieves taxes at the bottom of the scale. Obviously this would require some accompanying budget adjustment. Further we pledge to support a move to return to the 4963 income tax bill level which while still a pig's breakfast was moving in the right direction for reducing the confiscatory nature of our tax structure which is a serious drag on our economic growth efforts.
