Message | Senators, Such a drastic change in our constitutional order would require a good explanation from the government, which does not seem willing to give it. In relation to the election of mayors, the current system chooses it randomly among the citizens of each municipality, so that we build a true democracy. In relation to the Heads of State and Government, this change implies "de facto" ending the current electoral system (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=632920) (http: // classic. particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=638481) and therefore a more detailed explanation of it. And in relation to the collective name of our islands, IPA does not oppose it as long as the current framework of confederalism is respected (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=636633) Ballio Caesar Neneus Dux Oppositionis |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
