Message | OOC: Malivia Liberals, People's Party, i'm going to say this very calmly. Undoubtedly one/both of you will fly off the handle, but nevertheless i'll try. 1. Stop arguing with me and the MMP. Obviously i don't mean to say 'stop discussing and debating', just stop arguing for the sake of arguing. 2. Don't drag real-life into this. DON'T. It's very lovely that you're choosing the medical profession, and i hope you do well in it, but really, nobody really minds that much. Also, stop with the constant insults about needing to learn about government, or lose weight, or 'get a life'. If he didn't have a life he'd be dead, and corpses aren't too good at web games. 3. Please, please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE stop banging on about calling me and the MMP fascists and communists. We don't call you names, you shouldn't call us names. I'd understand if you'd remotely back it up, but you don't. You just say "you're a fascist and i don't know why but ner!" 4. You two seem to be quite similar... i'm not calling you multi's, you just seem very alike. |

Message | I am only going to answer to the pertinent parts that are on topic to this debate. Communism is a government type and can be seen very much throughout Terra, particularly in New Endralon. They espouse the values that everyone is equal and that workers control the production. Socialism is a government type and is less argressive than communism. Socialists advocate policies for the social good rather than one group. They are often more apt to allow private firms in some areas. Regardless, what qualifications do you have to 1) criticize me concerning my political knowledge when you don't know me and 2) espouse your definition of political governments and say they are correct? OOC: You are pathetic. You will never understand this game fully nor do you understand how/what governments are. You might be some educated medical student; but I am an educated political scientist. Maybe you need to know your shit before you start cticizing the wrong person-- people that know more about the topic than you do. It is clear that you do not understand different government types, cannot argue decently, and that you have no semblence of professionalism. I am happy to know that you will never represent the Federation because you simply don't comprehend all areas of this game. |

Message | Communism is a government. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism How can there be communist parties if it is not a government? Communist nations run alike as well... autocratic leader->politburo-like assembly->people. We feel you are getting confused as communism is usually more associated with dictatorships, etc. However, it just isn't that simple. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
