Message | I do not like devolution at all. I like the current arrangement, but I understand your concerns with private companies providing our fire protection. The market should be as private as possible, but there are some occasions when the government must take a lead in some aspects such as law enforcement and protection. Too bad we cannot have lots of subsidised private fire protection companies and a small amount of public ones to ensure a small amount of public protection if the private sector fails. |
