Bill: Establishing a Worthy Motto

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2015
Description[?]:
This bill seeks to provide for a decent motto for our great nation. Not one so clichéd or pertaining to one party in particular. The motto established shall be "Audaces fortuna iuvat." or "Fortune favors the bold." We feel that this motto fittingly represents the bold Kirwalan people. |

Message | Now, I propose the following: Sic itur ad astra. - Such is the way to the stars. Coniunctis viribus. - With united powers. (to emphasize our confederacy status) Audaces fortuna iuvat. - Fortune favors the bold. Solum potestis prohibere ignes silvarum. - Only you can prevent forest fires. Aio, quantitas magna frumentorum est. - Yes, that is a very large amount of corn. Oh how I love Latin... |

Message | then i propose we move to put "Si vis pacem, para bellum" to an up or down vote...i feel our current motto is too self serving. |

Message | isn't it "Fortes Fortuna Juvat"? I have read the original Latin text from Plinius and I am pretty sure it's Fortes Fortuna juvat. |
