This proposal sets forth the following: Article I: Recognizing the right of all citizens of the Commonwealth to own domestic and wild animals, provided they are treated properly and safely kept, this proposal guarantees the right of each citizen to own or trade any type of non-endangered animal, including members of exotic or wild species, without government interference or regulation. Owners of dangerous animals must simply ensure that such animals are securely kept and not prone to escape or bringing harm to others. Article II: In accordance with the majority view of Commonwealth scientists, climate change is recognized as a reality that is not caused by human actions and therefore one that should not be addressed by government policy. Article III: The National Assembly shall be granted all requisite powers in order to implement this legislation. |
