| In accordance with section 7 of the Game Rules (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8088#p145764), Darnussia and Narikaton is a "culturally protected" nation. Below is the cultural protocol which all players in the nation must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name. --OVERVIEW-- Darnussia and Narikaton is a country divided along ethnic lines. In spite of a history of conflict, recent developments have sought to ensure that the various cultural and ethnic communities can live alongside one another. The century of peace between both Nariks and Darnussians have let to the mingling of both ethnic groups, resulting in the creation of a new ethnic group that combines elements from the Narik and the Darnussian languages. The Hovians. Hovians are also more inclined to support the idea of a common Narik-Darnussian identity and further cooperation between the two sides. Still, Nariks and Darnussians make up the vast majority of the population. --ETHNICITY-- » Narik (Dutch)- 45% » Darnussian/Dundorfian (German)- 39% » Hovian (Frisian) - 6% » Luthorian (English)- 3% » Hobrazian (Georgian)- 1% » Yeudi (Jewish)- 2% » Other- 4% --RELIGION-- » Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Catholicism)- 49% » Luthoran Church (Protestantism)- 41% » No religion- 7% » Yeudism (Judaism)- 1% » Other- 2% --LANGUAGE-- The three official languages in Darnussia and Narikaton are Narik (Dutch), Hovian (Frisian) and a variant of Dundorfian (German), sometimes referred to as Darnussian or Darnussian Dundorfian.
