Mr/Mme Speaker, we already achieved to increase freedom for the media but we were halt by the previous Government. Only really in private hands, in the hands of our citizens our media will be free and independent. The Government proposes to add a further piece to this legislation: passed the bill it is established the Democratic Council Committee for Radio-Television Oversight and Subsidises Allocation, with the goal to determine annually allocation of resurces for the subsided cooperatives and oversees on the independence of these cooperative, especially from the state itself. For this reason the Committee, composed proportionally as the political forces in the Democratic Council, will be chaired by a deputy coming from the opposition. - Zenone Laurito, BF |
