Bill: Ref-Con Coalition government

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Union for Likatonia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 5085

Description[?]:

This will bring an end to the ineffective unity governments and start a new era. We are willing to beginn this era with the Conservatives if they promise to vote in favour of the following government program:
- Open homosexuality is not tolerated in the military. The military has a "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
-Women serve alongside men. (Women in military)
-Foreign investors may invest in national companies, but may not get a majority share.
-Foreign nationals may only be employed in circumstances where the government has determined there is a labour shortage.
- The government has no stance on a salary cap.
-The law does not mandate or encourage profit sharing programs
-The nation imposes reciprocal tariffs on imports, with no tariffs imposed on states which impose no tariffs on our exports.

We are also welcoming proposals of the Conservatives for the united Government program

MessageMr Speaker,

The Labour Party will go into opposition in the coming three years. We will form a strong and constructive opposition to the new right-wing government. We know that most of the policies that are being put forward by this coalition of the right and we will oppose them when they move against ordinary people and put forward policies that help just the powerful few, and not the many. However when agreement can be forged, and when we agree with the policies of the government we will of course support it. Finally, I think it would probably make sense to issue a warning to the now-emerging right-wing coalition. There has already been 8 years of austerity policies, of segregation and of widening gaps between the rich and the poor. These elections showed the nation's disaffection with the last conservative government and its policies. If the new coalition repeats the last governments right-wing policies, well the people might not take it as quietly as it has been up until now. If the inequality continues to rise, there will no doubt be, an uprising and a democratic resistance to this government!
