Bill: Space Exploration

Details

Submitted by[?]: Almighty Lodamunian Front (ALF)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2229

Description[?]:

Space Exploration is too important to be left to private companies. The government must regulate space exploration to ensure it develops in a manner according to its will. This only includes scientifc research pertaining to space exploration. There will be no development of programs for manned space exploration. Space exploration will be conducted using robots.

MessageI can agree with this. But only for scientific research. Manned space exploration is not needed. There are too many risks and the costs are too high. Robots can do much more for less money. If this is added to the proposal(in the description?) we will support this bill.

MessageWe see space exploration as a field for private enterprise, so we oppose. We already know enough of space to deploy tactic military satellites and weaponry.. this is enough to make us happy
