Message | We have an extremely healthy budget and the LDP feels its time we start spending the peoples money on the people. We still have a surplus of over 10,000,000,000 VAN each year so there is no serious cash situation at all. |

Message | Instead of spending the people's money how about taxing them less so that they can spend their own money on what they think its important in their lives instead of the government deciding for them what's important. "Who else but the people know what's best for them. |

Message | Why has the HoG have such a high increase you ask.. the HoG was the smallest budget eqiped area and this must cover the costs of ther President and his staff.. as well as the Presidential Palace and Presidential aircraft and security, as well as the Parliament Building, the MPs in Parliament and there respective staff as well as the up keep on there respective buildings.. its about time we spent some money to fix up these facilities... As for the tax cuts.. if you had of read the other budget clearly three groups gained cuts to taxes.. so get your facts straight would you |

Message | What is the justice department's remit? If it is only running the court system, we beleive the increase to be too big. If however, Justice is responsible for police, prisons, rehabilitation etc (rather than Interior having these functions), this increase sounds fair. Also, this still seems like a huge increase for the President, especially as many here are looking to reduce the role (not me though!) Perhaps more investment in transport and infrastructure would be a good idea too. You pointed out that we have been in surplus since time immemorial, and yet Finance has a large increase. Surely as we have so few debts to service, such a vast increase is unjustified. These small points aside, generally a good budget. |
