| The Porn Legalization Act of January 5097 is a proposed bill that’ll allow certain type of pornography to be legal for adults only. Any porn that contains incest, animals, children, and non consenting partners, etc will still be illegal. Porn can be produced on our country if this bill passed but only legal pornography. |

| Message | Pornography, even more-so than nudity, possess no innate benefits or qualities. Instead, it causes mental instability, depression, addiction, and unrealistic sexual expectations in those who watch it. Even limiting it to adults does not stop straw-man purchases, or children finding porno mags under their pa’s bed, or in an alley. There is a small argument for legalizing nudity, but certainly not pornography. Pornography’s production, regardless of the level of regulation, focuses on objectification of women, and caters to the worst and most primal instincts of both men and women. If sexuality is normalized on the societal level, we could hit a slippery slope, causing decreased productivity and happiness, and increased suicides, rapes, sexual harassment cases and sexual assault cases. We plead with every party here, to not legalize this, for the overall welfare of society, men, women, kids, white, black, brown, everyone will be eventually, ultimately harmed, whether directly or indirectly, by this legislation. |
