Bill: Baltusian Fire Department Bill of December 5096

Details

Submitted by[?]: Technocratic Party of Baltusia (TPB)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 5102

Description[?]:

After seeing the mess that is the decentralised fire fighting system in Baltusie, we the TPB propose to unite these local departments into one national Fire Department that will get the funding that would've been allocated to these local entities. We also feel confident that the Baltusian People would support this as shown in the Baltusian Daily not long ago (http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews.php?after=37140&before=37152&nation=22)

MessageWe oppose this. We think that local governments can decide by themselves how high the risk of fire is in their region.

MessageAfter some consideration, the BCU decided to give this our support for the main reason that this proposal will make sure that every area and citizen in the USB can rely on good fire protection services.

ToDebating the Baltusian Fire Department Bill of December 5096
MessageWe oppose this bill. We believe that when local governments run their own Fire departments, not only does help lower response times, it also allows Fire departments to adapt to their own local environment and can strengthen the sense of community of a place.
