Bill: RP: New Liberal Party
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Liberal Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 5099
Description[?]:
Various dissatisfied liberal groups have met and formed the New Liberal Party, led by John Halmouth. It is 'classically liberal', and closely resembles the early Liberal Party: economically libertarian, minarchist, and sceptical of climate change. In addition to the Liberal-aligned think tanks, it has a strong base of youth support formed in the protests against the Progressive tax rises which saw that party forced into a humiliating U-turn. The party is strongest on the coast, in Middenriding and Shipleyriding. It has described the interior as "unproductive" and "economically backward", and some fringe factions of the party go so far as to support secession. |

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire. |
