| " The revolt against the Kennedy plan was expressed at the ballot box. Many voters decided to abstain and all the parties that had supported the Kennedy plan collapsed. Ms. Finehart's New Democratic Movement seems to have benefited from the rout of the Prime Minister, as have the new parties that have entered parliament. The Brown Cross remains the largest opposition force to the system. We keep the majority of our seats and this is due to our militants who have given their heart and soul for the country. We continue to fight and we will always oppose the Kennedy plan and all the austerity plans that will impoverish our people. " |
