Bill: Copyright Protection

Details

Submitted by[?]: Voter Apathy Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2229

Description[?]:

We are losing a brain trust in this country as there is no reason to invent because as soon as you invent it the government/society takes over the invention and there are knockoffs all over the place. They need to be assured if they invent it they get credit for doing the work and get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

MessageEverything is done for some sort of money. You spend all your time and effort perfecting something and you obtain no benefit from it? That is just absurd. There is no reward and no point. It's no wonder more and more of our best and brightest are leaving Saridan.
