Message | No support. this was just recently changed by the majority votes. It needs to remain in the states hands to offer better care for patients. If you make it private then the hospitals are competing to provide better care which state hospitals do, they are competing for a bigger profit and that as we all know means that standards go out the window |

Message | Support, with the LDP overspending we'll need to save money |

Message | The SD oppose this bill, and reject the proposition put by the Nationalist Party that the LDP are overspending. Whilst there has been an increase in government spending in a number of areas it hardly amounts to everspending and in no way places our economy at risk. I seem to recall that at the time of the most recent budget debate the nationalists asked for an increase in military spending, yet now they want to save money on health. Are we to assume then that the Nationalist party is happy to spend money on death, but not on saving lives. |

Message | State subsidies that go toward the profits of private healthcare firms, which are an inevitable consequence of this Bill are a wasteful use of taxpayer's money |
