Bill: Election Cycle

Voting deadline: January 2233
Description[?]:
Currently the election day alternates from January to July. I propose we set a standard election day that falls on the same day every 3rd year to avoid electorate confusion. |

Message | His Grace leans towards preferring the current system, because we have enough elections already, but he is ready to consider the issue and listen to what the other parties have to say about this. Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |
Date | 01:33:14, May 24, 2006 CET | From | Tee Party | To | Debating the Election Cycle |
Message | I would also be willing to amend this article to change the election cycle to every 48 months, but I would prefer 36 months to allow more voice from our citizens. Regardless I believe it should fall at the same time every X years and not every X and 1/2 years. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
