Bill: Religious Taxation Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Radicals
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2232
Description[?]:
The majority of our people now want religions to be taxed, they are sick and tired of the benefits which they receive, yet they are not entitled to such benefits unless they are rich enough. We need to rid our nation of the tax haven of organised religion. We supply adequate aid to other nations, we have an unbelievably generous welfare system (I believe, I can't remember at what stage of the see saw contest we're on), we would not squander the money, we would spend it for the good of the people, and the people are realising this. What we are doing is not blasphemous, we are doing it for our citizens. |
