The ducal government, chaired by Sarah Straughan, decided to launch a campaign of protests and opposition to the bill that would end segregation in all education institutions. The ducal government warns of a general decline in academic performance and increased school violence if segregation were to end. A protest in support of segregation gathered 100 000 people in Alchester. "This new law would be totally unsuited to the situation of our duchy. There are obviously certain differences between the races that cannot be overcome. " said Sarah Straughan. |
