| Today, June 20, 5143, took place in the building housing the Imperial Diet, the Opening Ceremony of the Imperial Diet, this very important event in politics, because this event opens the beginning of the annual parliamentary session, marks the inauguration of the new deputies, and the recognition of the new cabinet by the Empress or Emperor in office. Traditionally, the Emperor or Empress delegates the opening of the Imperial Diet to a very senior member of the Imperial family, as Crown Prince Rupert did last year and they normally read a government-drafted speech, which wants to be as neutral as possible, to avoid at all costs that the monarchical institution is allied to politics, as was the case under Eowin VIII, where the monarchy was put in collision with the political crisis and with its support for the Palmer's Politics, his hard line applied against the Brown Cross during his eight years in office. But this year, Empress Charlotte decided to break tradition and asked the government not to write a speech, and that she will preside over the opening of the Diet herself and write a speech with the help of her Privy Council, she still gave the government pledges, giving it a veto over the speech and promising to be "neutral" on government policy.
